Hi! Anyone know how to clear or remove a old projects/finish songs from the file menu/dashboard? I still can't figure this out :/

On Windows, I just deleted the relevant directory from the filesystem. For speed, I used the 'Open...' option on the File menu, and moved up one directory from my current project, so that I was in the directory that holds all my projects. I then right-clicked the directory of the project to delete, and pressed DEL on my keyboard.

As of Bitwig Studio 2.3 you can simply right-click any project in the list and remove it from the list.

Thanks leegee but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. The project folder is deleted but it still shows on the dashboard.

Does anyone know where this info is stored?

Thanks.

Go to:

C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\Bitwig Studio\index

search and delete files that end in:

project.index

Their filenames will start with a long random string to make them unique.

Thanks amg56,

Your idea seems to remove all projects. I think Amitrix wants to remove a few old projects, not all projects.

On a slightly different topic. I would love to know how to clear all 'Recent' projects.

Yes, sorry, I was on a mission to clear everything out. I moved the project folder and apparently it makes duplicate entries in the menu for every project, it was driving me bananas.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I hope Bitwig will make that easy in future updates, seems like a simple thing :/
