I just got BWS 2 and I'm really enjoying it. But I think I just found a flaw with the automation lane. When I put a automation mark at i.e. 5 % and the next at i.e. 60 %, it doesn't add the respective automation fluidly, instead it jumps abruptly from 5 % to 60 %. In 1.3, tje automation would gradually go up from 5 % to 60 %.

Is this a flaw, or do I need to adjust something?

Nothing has changed there, just be sure to use the pointer tool, not the pencil!

I have noticed this too. It's a bug. I've been trying to get a solid and simple repro case for it, but it's tricky.

OP do you have a minimal example where you see this issue?

EDIT: I think I have the bug isolated. Check out the automation of the gain parameter in this project (on my machine it's failing to automate):

EDIT: This is really weird. I tried the project on another machine and it's fine.

Well, I just tried using a XY effect on a track. I out the wet to 0% and then at the start of a bar, i put a point on 5 % and in the end of the bar a point at 75 %. It didn't increase fluidly, it was abrupt. I tried to use the pencil tool, but that just made smalll abrupt increments. I somehow fixed it by putting another points in another bar, and the dragging it into the respective one. I'm kinda confused

I am experiencing this bug as well...

EDIT: I seem to have fixed the issue by just putting another automation point on the line. I honestly dont know why that fixed it, but it did for me

I'd like to follow this up with a workaround proposed by Bitwig tech support:

Go into your audio settings and manually set the sample count to a fixed integer, eg: 512 samples.

You may add a bit of latency, but it's fixed the automation for me. I still consider this to be a bug, so hopefully they'll have it sorted in a future version.
