Hello, the when i add my keystation 88es as a midi controler was find in autosearch, will not play a sound if i set a Polysynth as Instrument.

whats wrong?

sorry for my English, i'm german User

Greetings Lupopa

System Linux Ubuntu 14.04.1 (Demo of Bitwig)

Hey Lupopa, just to exclude all other possibilities: - Can you confirm that the keystation is added as a controller, and that you have selected the correct in and output? - When adding a Polysynth to play, have you armed the track?

Hey frederik, i have in Audiosettings as Audio System "JACK Audio Connection Kit" Input Device "system" Output Device "system" Samplerate and Buffer are Standard

In Controllers are Generic MIDI Keyboard -> USB Keystation 88es MIDI 1

in QjackCTL are the Bitwig only in Audio but not JACK-MIDI or ALSA-MIDI

see Screenshots, there is no actions if i press a key on the Midi Keyboard....

No, Bitwig Studio doesn't provide inputs itself, but you could use Linux' virtual midi driver to connect anything (including your Keystation) to BWS, this would at least be a workaround and since the Keystation doesn't offer Controller functionality you should be fine. See here, on how to do that:

Still i'm puzzled why BWS doesn't work with your Keystation. It does work with other Linux applications?
