Hi, I noticed that in 2.1 that MIDI clock slave facility has been introduced which is a great addition to the feature set. In my setup I connect to a modular system using the CV clock OUT (via expert sleepers modules). this works great and the sync is spot on :-). In an ideal world, Ideally, I would love to be able to send a start signal / clock to Bitwig from the modular - this way I could press "start" on (for example) Cricadian Rhythm module and also adjust the tempo directly within my modular whilst Bitwig remains synchronised (a nice to have hands on feature for modular users).

Effectively I imagine this would be something like the CV clock OUT but in reverse - Bitwig receiving rather than sending the signals. This would maximise flexibility as users could start / change tempo from whichever bit of hardware suits them (or via Bitwig directly of course) with everything keeping in sync :-)

BTW - I am a new user (used the demo for a while and recently took the plunge) and really enjoying the workflow and functionality! Regard, JJ

Hello JJ, welcome to the Bitwig community and thanks for feature request. Audio/CV sync input might come in the future. In the mean time there are third party solutions that convert audio clock to MIDI signal, which in turn can be used to slave Bitwig Studio.
