Exactly how is that done? Putting authorized copies of Bitwig on 3 machines.

By default they're giving you two authorizations, each for one machine.

You can't register for offline usage more than two machines. For that you need to issue an extra authorization by writing to their support team.

But you can use it on any number of machines by using temporary (online) authorization for current session - that means you just login, hit the button "for this session only", and you are ready to go until you close Bitwig. Next time you do need to login again.

Just install, at the first startup you will be asked to register.
