I would very much like to see a "Freeze Tracks" feature in Bitwig that would help save CPU. The beauty is that it is non-destructive and the track can be "unfrozen" and re-edited. I don't think hydrid tracks, de-activation and bouncing are really a sufficient work-around. Hopefully you guys might consider this in an upcoming release?
