i love quick creative sequencers, would be amazing if you could double click on launch clips and it then opens a drum sequencer with assignable macros , also same for the synths ....just saying

btw is this where we can post ideas to improve BITWIG ?

How much easier can it be than using a Drum Machine with a collapsed MIDI clip? It's all there already and is very simple as it is.

if the drum/synth sequencer device is polyrhythmic, then MUCH easier!!

Then just put your percussion elements on separate tracks and use clips of different lenghts?

of course there is always a workaround... but for e.g. 3rd party drum plugins I think using a polyrythmic sequencer would be much easier than routing different midi channels to the plugin. also consider that one of the most downloaded maxforlive devices is a polyrythmic sequencer....
