I am using Bitwig on Linux (Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS) and it works great. I also have Pianoteq for Linux, which also works great by itself. However, when I use Pianoteq as a VST plugin for Bitwig, I have two problems:

  • The native Pianoteq window is not shown. A window does come up, but it is only a few pixels wide and high, so it is not possible to see anything in it. It is not resizable.
  • The list of presets in the Bitwig interface ("Show plug-in programs") only shows 32 presets. Therefore I do not have access to all the PianoTeq instruments that I need.

I wouldn't need PianoTeq's own interface in Bitwig if only Bitwig could show all the presets in the list, so that would be my preferred solution.

I made a nice annotated screenshot to show what I mean, but the forum will not let me upload it even though I am a paying Bitwig customer. :( Let me know if my explanation is unclear.

Same issue here. Ya'll find a fix? Best.

i have the same problem! i have just started using Bitwig and have 3 3rd party plugins intalled: Diva, DiscoveryPro and Dexxed. Diva works with no problems. Dexxed and DiscoveryPro both have the same problem you described above. The plugin's interface window size seems to be 0x0 pixels and only the windowing system's titlebar is visible. I can find no way to resize the plugin interface window and access the controls :(

EDIT: Ubuntu 18.04 RC, Bitwig 2.3.2
