when i try and draw an automation curve by using 'alt' key and dragging, i don't get a curve, i just get both automation points before and after selected and the whole automation line moves, instead of a curve being formed. I did have it working bfore, but now it seems impossible to draw curves. is anyone else having this problem? i have watched the tutorials on this many times, but the software is not behaving the way i expect it to. this is a major pain as i want to use this facility a lot, but am unable to it seems...................please help. i am on windows10 64bit. (but i have tried and it happens on mac too)

Do you have some other application, which catches the Alt key before Bitwig does?

I have similar issue with a tool for resizing and dragging windows. When working in Bitwig, I disable the tool.
