I've been succesfully using the Cirklon as both a MIDI interface and sequencer for my hardware. Unfortunately, I can't find any way to get any MIDI from my Cirklon to Bitwig. It simply isn't recognzed even when when using the Generic MIDI controller. Also, I can't slave Bitwig to the Cirklon, despite successfully slaving Ableton Live to it.

I'd really love to be able to sequence VSTs and Bitwig instruments from the Cirklon, and also record MIDI sequences from it to Bitwig. What am I doing wrong ?

How do you connect the Cirklon to your computer? Is it connected via USB or a MIDI port on your audio/midi interface? Can you see and select it as an input?
If you want to have Cirklon as the master clock, open Bitwig Studio's Dashboard, then go to Settings > Synchronization. Here select MIDI Clock as transport sync method. Then select Cirklon in the drop down menu below.
To control individual tracks, set up the Cirklon as a MIDI input (using a generic script as you write), then select it as an input for your tracks. Remember to arm the track.
