The arpeggiator's re-trigger function works just fine when playing a MIDI controller live. However, when you record the performance and play back, the recorded MIDI notes don't seem to re-trigger the arpeggiator. It either picks up from where it left off or starts a step or 2 in.

  • Create a track with an instance of the arpeggiator and polysynth
  • Play some MIDI keys and notice the arpeggiator re-triggers as expected
  • Record a performace and play back
  • Notice the arpeggiator now either picks up from where it left off or starts a step or 2 in.

Set up

  • Bitwig 2.2.2
  • OS X 10.12
  • MBP Retina
  • Nektar Impact LX49

Just noticed that if you disable the "Use Transports Shuffle" function on the arpeggiator MIDI notes now re-trigger the arpeggiator when played pack.
