With Ableton Link disabled, I can create clips on the Master track with tempo automation. When these clips are triggered, the tempo of the session changes.

When Link is activated as the Transport Sync (IN) mechanism, these clips no longer work. The only way to change the tempo is through the bpm number at the top.

I would like the option for Bitwig to perform as the "master node" in my Ableton Link network, and change the tempo of the Link session (just as it does when I modify the bpm in the transport control UI) when the automation clips are triggered.

To reproduce:

  • Create two scenes (a, b)
  • On scene a, on Master, create a clip and change the tempo automation
  • On scene b, on Master, create a clip and change the tempo automation to something else
  • Play the scenes, the tempo should change
  • Enable "Link"
  • Play the scenes, the tempo does not change. Desired outcome: the tempo does change...
