I have a .bwproject file that won't load. The error messages is "Error extracting required files from project's attachments: invalid stored block lengths".

I didn't expect that we'd have to watch out for file corruption, so I haven't been saving incremental versions, and that's quite a lot of lost work.

What could lead Bitwig to write a file incorrectly?

Presumably, either file was truncated, or the file is complete but the block lengths were written incorrectly. Can a .bwproject file be salvaged or repaired under those circumstances?

For future versions of Bitwig, could a check be added when saving to make sure that the project is saved correctly, and perhaps saved as clips in the library when errors are detected?
