Having a lot of trouble with splitting multiple clips or midi notes.. for instance... if i want to split a harmony of 3 notes in a row on top of each other, when i select those the split tool only works for the 1 you click on... same works for clips.

Am i missing something? Please help!

Hi. You need to use "Split" keyboard shortcut for this. Create a line where you want to split, draw it across multiple clips in a row and hit "Split" shortcut.

You can't use Knife tool for this, which is sad. I hope they will extend the possibilities of the tools in the future. In fact, i will send a feature suggestion about it.

this doesn't work the way you describe maybe u forget to mention something? only way is to mark the one of each halves and then split.. this doesnt work with midi notes.. so there's no possible way to cut trhough "lets say" a harmony of three notes at once. either u cut them one by one, resize or remove. weird.

Yes, sadly it doesn't work this way in piano roll. It works with clips in arrangement view.
