I'd like to export a midi file with multiple instrument tracks and change which instrument will come out on which midi channel.

e.g I have a piano, bass and keys in a project, and i'd like the piano to export on midi channel 16, the bass to be on midi channel 4 and the keys to be on midi channel 5 when i export. is this possible?

the only way i can think to do it is create a bunch of dummy empty tracks in between the instruments I actually want (each with a 0%velocity note so they will get exported - they seem to be ignored if there's no notes in them) if i just export with the tracks i want it assigns them to channels 1,2 and 3. by default.

i'm doing this so i can import a midi file made in bitwig to a multi channel hardware sequencer (RS7000)
