I brought my bitwig 2.5 license 2 weeks ago and I keep getting this message "Could not reach server make sure your firewall is turned off and internet is connected".

My firewall is off and I have an internet connection.

I also don't have the ability to register off line, somebody please response this is really unprofessional to pay for a product I cant use at all.

For this it's best to contact tech support:

Don’t feel bad. Neither can I. Firewall off, reinstall program, restart windows 10, etc. Tried the offline registration, was successful, but then unable to install content. Access forbidden. Did you ever get an answer?

Yeah buddy that helped fix my issues on Mac OS but try this method and let me know if it work

Windows: 1 Open a windows explorer and go to the following folder: C:\Users[username]\App Data\Local\Bitwig Studio 2 Find and delete any files called .activation-1-1 or with other numbers 3 Restart Bitwig Studio

Appreciate the help. Found the file right where you said and unfortunately still have the issue. It’s a strange situation as I’m obviously able to access all of Bitwigs other online pages. I’m guessing it’s a weird licensing conflict from my previous installation of BW I track.

I contacted support so I’m sure they will have a quick fix soon, thanks again!

Okay where you able to the delete the previous activation files that’s what I did.

+1 for contacting tech support.

I received a reply within twelve hours and the license issue is solved. A bit of tinkering on both ends fixed it, and we are troubleshooting the content download issue now.

Really nice support!
