I was using the Dual Display Arranger/Mixer layout today when I noticed the "Big Meters" button on the mix panel of the main window. However, when I clicked on it, the meters were really squashed and divider could not be dragged up to make the meters bigger. This also is the case on the Dual Display Master/Detail layout.

Also for consistency, I wonder if the big meters button could be added to other three layouts (Single Display Large, Single Display Small, and Dual Display Studio/Touch) that feature the mix panel.

Also Ctrl+Clicking on the numbers under the faders could edit them?

Hi,

big meters take all the space you leave to them.

You can toggle on/off the other elements in the view by clicking their icon (orange when active).

You are displaying big meters in the small lower panel. Press tab to show in the big panel. Close the lower panel, the inspector, the browser. If you close all the panels and all the other widgets you will have only enormous meters.

bigenough?

Are these big enough? :-D

Big meters are available in any mixer view.

It is written in the manual.

And yes, if you ctrl-click the fader values, you can set the faders to precise numbers, as all the other control iin Bitwig.

Yes, the big mixer view is consistent because it has big meters everywhere. Just that the small mixer view (mix panel) does NOT have big meters everywhere, but only in certain display configurations. And in those layouts, the meters are squashed and practically unusable. It's an inconsistency that I feel like either the button could be removed across all display configurations, or preferably, the feature embraced: big meters button added to the mix panel everywhere and the panel allowed to resize.

Also the faders is a nitpick: ctrl+clicking on the fader works but not on the "-10.0" text.

You cannot glue paper with an hammer... Each tool, and view, has its purpose. Small panel isn't for remix or wherever you need big meters... You can arrange the views as you need. Fabrizio

How nice would it be if we also had bigger faders :-)

I allready did some time ago. Suggested a same button like the big meters but then 1/3 fader 2/3 meter. Didn't receive a reply (jet ;-))
