Hey guys, I upgraded to bws 3 and now it doesn't load my third party plugins anymore. Like, they show up in the browser, but when opening them it says in the device panel: Error obtaining plugin host proxy: Could not launch process. Google didn't give me anything useful. Any ideas? Thanks!

I had the same issue and realized, that the BitwigPluginHost64.exe and BitwigPluginHost32.exe were missing after installation. I did a compare to the still existing Beta version to see this. A second installation in repair mode did fix it.

Uninstalling and reinstalling version 3 helped to find third party plugins in my projects. But.. newer plugins like Kontakt 6 and Massive X were not listed. The plugin folders reindexing function seems to do nothing. Next big bw3 bug? No, this second issue is an old one. Workaround is to delete blocking cache files. Same problem. No fix. What a disappointment.
