I have a string track where I want slide transitions between notes. I don't want the abrupt note transition, but I want the string to play then slide into the next note's pitch. Is there an easy way to do this? In particular it would need to jump over the attack of a sample.

I'm aware of the micro-pitch editing, but I'd prefer the portamento on all notes automatically. The micro-pitch also doesn't skip attacks, so isn't quite what I want -- though would work fine on some instruments.

I would be interested in this too! The "Glide" option from a.e the polysynth device is not flexible enough for this purpose- depends on the distance between two notes. We would need something in direction of a grid sampling a note and then repeating it and decreasing/increasing it towards the next played note in small discrete steps..tricky..
