Hey guys, I'm fairly new to Bitwig and I've run into my first problem that has led me on what seems to be an easter egg hunt to find the answer for it.

I see that once a parameter is moved inside of a VST (even a 3rd party one) it still shows that you can automate it in the track view. Great. But massive has a lot more stuff that just knobs that would be great for automation.

I have an LFO that is synced to tempo and modulating the filter cutoff in a track that I'm working on.... and I would like it to progress from 8th notes to 12th, to 16ths. Whenever I change it, it doesn't allow me to automate it the same way that another knob parameter would. I tried to look it up on youtube and i found that there is a way that you can do it in Ableton through the "configure" button on the VST container. I am also coming from FL Studio and all you have to do in FL is right click the parameter and select "create automation track"...

So I would like to think that there is some way to do it. Does anyone know how?

Thanks so much in advance!

I made a new video for just you and explaining how automation work and how you can access diffrent parameters and stuff. I am using massive in this video and show how to automate the ratio when sync is active. This will anwser your question. Cheers :)

Is the lfo thirdparty? In fl studio you cant just rightclick and automate a thirdparty plugin. Same in bitwig. If its bitwigs native plugins just rightclick and add automation and its done. For thirdparty you can do what i do in this video Its super easy and fast :) Much better then FL studio :) Ableton i have no experience off

Thanks for the response, I greatly appreciate it, but I don't think this helps me :(

This is a video of the EXACT parameter I am trying to automate it Bitwig, but it is done in Ableton via a "configure" setting on the VST container. You can skip to 0:55 and see quickly what I mean.

It's not a knob that I'm trying to automate, but it is a parameter. Can Bitwig do this??

Thanks again!

I tried just doing the rate knob automation and that works...but it not synced to tempo :(
