Is there a way to ignore the clip selection for the playback start point? I often edit various clips within in a time range, but when I select a clip that has a different start point than my time range, the playback position moves to that start location automatically. This is sometimes convenient, but more often I would like the playback position to stay where I put it. Like in Logic I would like to select to either start at the clip selection, time selection or ignore the selection, so I can freely edit clips within a time range without my playback point jumping around. I know I can cmd-select clips, but selecting clips is such a major action, I would rather not use control key combinations. |
