When I try to open Bitwig 3.1 I get an error stating: <java_home>/lib/ext exists, extension mechanism no longer supported. Then it won't open, help would be much appreciated. I running Bitwig on a windows 10.

Please uninstall it using the Windows Preferences control panel and also delete USERS\XXXX\APPDATA\LOCAL\BITWIG STUDIO. After doing so, please reboot and reinstall 3.1 again.

This worked for me: find the "Bitwig Studio" folder (bin, jre, library, resources, bitwig application etc.) and delete it. Then go to your search bar and look up bitwig studio and click the application. That should re install it automatically and open up the app.
