Have just been listening to the micro-pitch additions to studio 3, seem interesting and useful - and helps free us from the tyranny of the (industrial) 12 note/440Hz imposition

So why are we adding more - more! - 4/4 awful drums to this - and (it seems) all 'demonstrations' of new synth capabilities ?

Pitch - as time, as timing as rhythm as 'life' - is not fixed

The 4/4, 12 note eq. temperament, A-440 construct is simply just one 'imposed' idea - where in nature or traditional folk or indigenous musics does any equivalent exist ?

I would like to think that the (new) oscillators start from a position of having no fixed pitch knob(s) - nor '440' tags .. maybe similar to the aged ems synths .. what do you think ?
