Bitwig 1.3 Linux Mint 18.3 4.15.0-76-generic Focusrite Scarlett 2i2

Bitwig's audio stopped working today. Worked perfectly yesterday and before.

I can see that it's producing sound into the master channel but no audio is coming out. Sound in other software works as usual. While running Bitwig I have no other programs running to take up the audio card.

Rebooted couple times. Checked audio settings and everything is as they should be. I haven't touched them after yesterday.

Last updates I installed were: linux-libc-dev 4.4.0-173.203 libsasl2-modules 2.1.26.dfsg1-14ubuntu0.2 tcpdump 4.9.3-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 libservlet3.1-java 8.0.32-1ubuntu1.11 libsasl2-2 2.1.26.dfsg1-14ubuntu0.2 libsasl2-modules-db 2.1.26.dfsg1-14ubuntu0.2

Dear Hietala,

If you want support from Bitwig, then write to the support. This is a user forum.

I don't use Bitwig 1.3 since ever never, I do not own a Scarlett. I use UbuntuStudio 19.10,

So I have nothing really useful to write to you. I always do when I have something to say.

Write to If they know, maybe they can do something.

Best regards,

Well stupid me! Of course there's support and I'm here waiting for help from mere users. Thank you for pointing that out, Fabrizio!

I'm sorry if my message was reflecting the frustration I was feeling. I hope you have a very nice day :)

Hietala, don't blame yourself. Just to ask... Have you checked the levels with alsamixer? Fabrizio

Well it was silent for a couple days and then just started working again.

I did nothing to achieve this. Just more reboots and not using Bitwig.

It's worrying to me that this might happen at any time, even when I'm working on a bigger project and need to stay working. And that there was no response to my question here.
