After much frustration, I finally got my waves plugins to show up in the plugins list, but now, every time I try to load one, it crashes, no matter which one I choose. I am running V8 of the waves plugins, they work in every other DAW that I use, why not in Bitwig, am I missing something?

I have same problem. Just bought Waves bundle gold and Bitwig cannot find those plugins. It's strange because it does find a free wave plugin I got (true verb). Any help? Am runing on Windows 7 32BIT.

Did you try the Waveshell or StudioRack?

I'm on version 8 of the plugins, Waveshell will show up but every time I load a plugin, they crash. And I can't get StudioRack free unless I do the Waves upgrade plan, and I am not wasting any more money with them to make my existing plugins work. I had contact with them and they say its not their fault, it's because of the way Bitwig handles plugins. So they would not give me Studio Rack or anything unless I pay for the upgrade plan, which I have no interest in. If the Waves plugins I have now don't ever work, well, I'm just not ever going to spend money on Waves anymore. I have zero problems with any other plugin in Bitwig, they all work perfect for me, only the Waves don't work.

Bitwig dosn't work with Waves V8. nly with Waves V9... I knew this also after buying the program, and had to spend 200$ on waves update plan.

I also don't really enjoy working with waves' plugins. I really hate this whole USB dongle/license cloud thing. On top of that their plugins create a ton of files and folders in several different locations. I had to install a complete bundle although i just bought one plugin and the deinstalling app only offers to take away the whole bundle again. So i am basically wasting space on my 128Gb SSD because i don't want to try around which of all these files are save to delete. With all other plugins on the other hand I just create a folder in Plug Ins/vst/name of company in which the plugin goes. All neat and clean, no hassle. I dont understand why waves is doing that…

Well...No dongle anymore with Waves v.9

No dongle but a license cloud from which you have to move the keys from one computer to another. If you forgot that or left your studio in a hurry you sit there with your laptop. Just trust your legit customers people. The thieves enjoy your waves plugins on all machines anyway and we pay to go through this annoying steps every time. I mean do you know of any hotel where the towels are chained to the wall because some assholes tend to steal them?
