I have noticed an issue when playing live.

Clips often do not stop at the end of a bar upon launching the next clip on that channel. Or launching another group pf clips

I have been noticing this for a while now. But it doesn't always happen.

I decided to try and figure out what is happening.

And the conclusion that I have come to is that I believe that it has to do with the position of the transport phase. But I am not fully convinced that is all there is to it.

If you stop the transport and then start the transport again by the launching of a scene or clip, the clips start playing on the downbeat of the first beat of the first bar which at the beginning of the phase cycle.

But if the transport is already playing and you launch a clip or group of clips at some odd time within the transport's phase cycle, (such as during beat 3, 5 or 7) clips will not stop as expected. Instead, they will continue to play for another 1 or 2 beats.

To give a specific example. From transport stopped, If I launch a scene, let it play for 5 beats, and then launch the next scene by clicking before the end of the 5th beat, some clips ( not all ) continue for another 2 beats

It's rather annoying and makes for sloppy live performances. So I am going to take it up with Bitwig support to see if there is a way this can be changed or if it's possible to improve this in an update.

P.s All of my clips, scenes, and groups are set to launch at 1/4.
