Before I make a feature request, can anybody tell me if it is possible to scale a clip and have the automation scale by the same amount?

Hi, sticklebrick,

If scaling means using the option "scale" in the clip menu/mouse right-button the answer is yes.

I've shot some images of a clip resize where I've pressed scale by 200% and scale by 50%, with the volume automation shown.

You can notice that the automation gets scaled with the clip:

scaled by 200%

scale by 200%

scaled by 50%

scaled bu 50%

Hope this helps...

If this is not what you were asking for, just tell me I'll delete the answer.

Hi fsciarra62, yes your answer was helpful. Just to clarify your answer for other users. Track automation and Clip automation are 2 distinct forms of data. Track automation cannot follow scaling but Clip automation can.
