As stated above. Either i can't find it or it isn't there.

In Ableton Live there is this function that you can specify for the selected clip(s). This means it jumps straight to the same clip position in the next clip you launch without losing the sync. Maschine does the same thing when switching patterns.

Or in addition to the very cool new "return to last clip" "Next action", "continue last clip" (legato) would be also very cool.

Guys, really, two years gone since you added it to your wishlist. Do you have plans at least? I really want to start using bitwig instead of ableton(

This is a feature I'm missing almost every day I work in BWS. Hoping the devs are reading this thread and will implement clip legato.

The only things stops me using Bitwig - no legato - not possible to switch between clips in the middle of a bar(

To all the bigwigs at Bitwig:

FYI, the relatively minimal amount of effort it'd take to implement this much-requested feature would in turn expand the scope of musical possibilities achievable from Bitwig in a most profound way. The far-reaching effect and increased agency achieved with this one particular affordance, in concert with the existing scope of Bitwig Studio's already future-leaning capabilities, could truly become a revolutionary, groundbreaking tool for many users, most assuredly fulfilling the still inherent potential of Bitwig as the next-generation device for creating new hybrids of legendary music.

Every loop will then become a new instrument in its own right, opening up a fertile ground for endless exploration, affording a kaleidoscopic vantage point for quickly attaining engaging recombinations of sound and groove in a most free, organic way. The alternative is continuing to be inadvertently yoked to a fascist tyrant of conformity and convention, forcing every sampled part to tediously start at the exact same place every time, save being obliged to constantly interrupt one's continuity of inspiration and flow, having to shut down the vibe just to edit samples or adjust their start points to some predefined values of speculated use at best, all the while cluttering up one's available workspace in a negatively-exponential way, facilitating frustration and entropy instead of inspiration and growth!

Personally, I invest more time in the process of musical creation when it helps to achieve a particular sense of freedom, individuality and flow. In this respect, Bitwig being without this capability any longer is already a breeding-ground for banality, boredom and frustration.

To all the Bigwigs at Bitwig, at long last please attend to this earnest request, and invest the approximately twenty man-hours of development work to finally implement this widely requested, much-needed feature once and for all !

Thank you in advance..

Why don't you add it to your "TO-DO" list as well !

Completely agree.

I just wonder if some features needed to be left out when since so many ideas were already taken from Live. Legato is a very much missed feature with me as well and I hope it gets implemented.

Let's keep this idea alive. It is super useful.
