I'm a complete newbie here.

I just installed the Bitwig sound packages and accidentally uninstalled them. So I re-installed them, and now there are 2 same instruments in my Browser (devices and presets window)!

I wanted to erase the duplicate instruments, so I deleted them. Then the original instruments are gone too!

Is there any way to fix this mess and have all the instruments back?

Please help me out here!

may install the packages again and than after, re-index the library ?

In browser Configuration's locations, Check to see if your "Sound Content Locations" does not also contain your Bitwig Library as well.

The best thing is to kind of start over. Under your Bitwig's user settings OSX: Application Support Windows : Appdata

Look for index under Bitwig and delete that folder, it will reindex everything under Browser and if you haven't yet, you can re-download Bitwig's packages.
