I have Waves plugins installed on my Mac, and some are version 8, and some are version 9. In Bitwig, I only see v9 plugings. (In other DAW's I see all of my plugins.)

I tried reinstalling, and I also made sure that there were v8 and v9 plugin folders in VST folder, but all I see is v9 plugins.

Is there anything that I can do to make them all available in Bitwig, or is this an issue that they are working on now? I'd love to be able to use all my Waves plugins! Thanks!

Try regenerating BWS's VST cache by deleting it. Do this by deleting the following files/folders:

/Users/your_username/Library/Application Support/Bitwig/Bitwig Studio/index (delete index folder)

/Users/your_username/Library/Caches/Bitwig/vst-metadata (delete vst-metadata file)

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question!

I did as instructed, but I still can't see v8.0 waves folder.

In VST folder, I have these two. WaveShell-VST 8.0.vst WaveShell-VST 9.3.vst

So I should be able to see both of them there, but I only see WaveShell-VST 9.3.vst. (But I'm glad that I learned a new trick to reindex the VST plugins!)

I'd be happy to hear more suggestions.

Thank you!
