I recently purchased the Arturia Keylab 61 Producers Pack supplied with Bitwig 1.0 disc but on activating, was prompted that the license code supplied was not valid. Reply from Bitwig support was:

"I’m very sorry to tell you that the license you purchased is invalid. I would recommend you to return your Producer Pack Bundle, and if you wish you may purchase the stand-alone version of Bitwig Studio which will work perfectly fine. If you decide to go for that option you can e-mail us your proof of purchase and we'll add a complementary gift to your Bitwig user account."

Anyone else in the same boat?

What a bizarre response - did they even ask who the supplier was?

All sorted now! Still not 100% sure what the issue was but received confirmation from support that the license is active again. Just tested activation there and we're good to go, yeehaa!

Wow ... What a horrible news you got there... :(. But if that do not work i suggest to return it where you bought since it probably is their fault. But however what a bad feeling. Would be booring if you got a package someone else has returned but they used the license... Need to serious ask them you bought them from, demanding a new package...

thanks both for the feedback.

No, they didn't ask who the supplier was. I don't think the product had been previously returned at all as all other contents and software were sealed etc. I use this supplier quite regularly for other instrument supplies etc. and they are always first rate in buying and customer satisfaction experiences, so my beef isn't really with them on this occasion. They've sold this Producer Pack in good faith, I've purchased it believing it was indeed a 'whole solution out the box'.

I have been in touch with the supplier who has also just learned that these licenses are being shipped rendered useless - apparently a wrangle between bitwig and arturia? I'm hoping that can be validated one way or another by either Co.

It's more just a disappointment as to the blasé response received after doing a lot of research - and specifically with the allure that arturia had teamed up with bitwig that both products were designed to work hand in hand - that I seem to be on the receiving end of a dud product. It's not a great new customer experience - I had to chase b/wig support for a response that on receipt of their above answer I've quoted, didn't really help or resolve the matter.

Thanks for your input though, hopefully I'll get somewhere and my album out on the shelves soon :D
