no output of the drum machine

okay, let me explain the steps.

1. open the bws.
2. homescreen in arranger mode
3. add to the instrument layer the drum machine as a device
4. choose the sample kit deep kit or anything else
5. waiting for refreshing of the sample cache
6. at this time if i do a test in single mode the tone sounds in master with normal volume
7. then i push the record , play and arranger(automation write) button
8. i hear a little counttone then a coloured bank is ongoing the drum machine channel but without a tone or sample kit

Have you got an idea?

I am really lost! Single mode what do you mean by that? Also add instrument layer, do you mean you put drum machine inside instrument layer? What do you mean with coloured bank?

That countdown you hear is metronome, it counts down before record. It wont play anything if you havent made any midi notes or if you have not recorded what you play... I am prob aware of that you are also. But do you have skype? We could screen share and help eachother there better =) no cam though needed :)

I have found my Big mistake! You are Right. I Need notes to use the sample kit. I thought i can use it without a beat. I have bws not so long. And i got no experience with another daw. But thank you for your support!
