Hi everyone, I have tried BWS on a dual boot system, and I have noticed that the interface is a bit different on Linux (Ubuntu Studio) than on Windows. I prefer the thinner, crisper text displayed on Linux.

Maybe it is due to the display routines of both systems.

So I tried to tweak BWS' default theme file, changing the default or menu font size values, but it didn't affect anything after relaunching the program. Anyway idea (or explanation)?

There is no theme support (yet) - so changing any values in the file you probably found is not affecting anything.

The different font looks can be achieved by tweaking subpixel hinting and font smoothing.

This should all be way better and more congruent with the upcoming 1.2 release.

Cheers, riot
