I'm not really sure. I'm up to date, I have 1.1.9, is that a 64bit version of Bitwig? I don't remember them ever asking me which version I'd like to use.

If not, is there a way to get ahold of the 64bit?

Thanks!

If anyone is still curious about this, I have an answer for you. @pakunoda is correct on how you can check the bit engine on Windows. I emailed tech support and if you are on a Mac you are by default using a 64 bit version of Bitwig because a 32bit version doesn't exist. Good to know.

What is your OS?

I noticed that on Windows 8.1, if you open the volume mixer, you have an instance of "engine-x64.exe" that appears and disappears with Bitwig Studio. alt text But, in the task manager, it's a "Bitwig Studio (32 bit)" that reads...

Everything I see on my machine, which is 64bit, leads me to indicate the shell of Bitwig is running 32 bit, but the plugins I installed are 64 bit. When I initially installed Bitwig, as part of the Arturia Producer Pack - I had issues with the 32bit plugins. I opted to reinstall only the 64 bit ones, and everything works like a charm.

To confirm, open up Task manager, and take a look. Here's a screenshot of mine: alt text
