Hello I have just moved over from FL Studios to Bitwig and PC to MAc. I want to tune my drum samples now in FL Studio you just loaded sample into Edison and clicked detect tempo and it give you the information, you then set the root pitch in the sample editor and used the piano roll to put sample at desired pitch/ key, how is this achieved in Bitwig?

You could use Voxengo SPAN to determine the note of your sample's dominant frequency. It's free.

Unfortunately Bitwig's sampler isn't capable of auto-detecting the root key of a sample. That would be a nice feature indeed. For now you can also open Edison as a vst (on osx too in Alpha) in Bitwig.

Other solutions would be any spectrum analyser, Melodyne or external app like Audiofinder, Mixedinkey, etc
