Good afternoon,

I've searched the forums, and online, and have not found what I'm looking for (perhaps I just don't enough terminology to search correctly). Namely, I'd like to be able to record, with a USB condenser mike, some bells that I have, and make an instrument out of the sounds I record.

Can anyone assist me, or point me in the right direction? I am capable of recording the sound, but just not the other steps.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Best,

James

If you want to play your bell sounds piano-like (in different pitches across the keyboard), then Bitwig's Sampler device is probably the right choice (see manual section 15.2.9).

If you just have random sounds you want to play via certain keys, drag your samples into the respective slots of the Drum Machine device (manual section 14.1.2.1).

Hope that helps!

Hey thanks! I'll check that out.

My apologies for not replying sooner, I was out of town, and not able to respond.

Thanks again!

Best,

James
