So I downloaded the new 1.2 beta today and now I see in my account that this beta used one my licenses. This is ridiculous!! Bitwig comes with 3 licenses and now I only have one left because the beta needed a new license?

This got to be the most stupid thing ever! I hope that I can change this because I'm not wasting one license for this beta.

Please double check. In my case, the Beta uses its own serial number and I have no new host registered.

I don't think this has something to do with installing on different computers. Normally If you installed bitwig on different computers then you can see it on your account with the section 'registred hosts'. In my case, if installed it on laptop & desktop and i have 2 registred hosts. There's still an option for 1 hosts. This is what matters.

From their FAQ: "On how many machines can I authorize Bitwig Studio? You can install Bitwig Studio on up to three machines at a time."

I think you're confused with serial number and registred hosts.

The beta license does not affect your host activations in any way. So it's not taking anything away from you.

You are right genlog.

Some other thoughts: 1. You can always get in contact with support if this really is the case. I've had the same problem a while back. They took care of this very quickly. 2. You can remove hosts as well. Very handy if you've just installed a new O.S. for example.
