A common workflow is to jam on the keyboard (to your own own tempo, with the click track off) and record it into a midi clip. In Bitwig there is no way to then edit the midi notes and align them to the grid using a stretching tool.

Yes, you could adjust each note one at a time.....I guess - but life is too short!

Every other major DAW lets you do this: FL Studio, Cubase, Ableton, Reaper.....Bitwig?

Please could you address this issue, Bitwig has got so many things right its unreal, it would be a shame to trip up on the basics.

Was hoping to see that in current RC release, it was requested at various places since 2014 The funniest thing is that functional is in Bitwig already.

You can Scale 50% or 200% MIDI clip easily. So the fastest fix will be make that Scale option numbers fully adjusted by users. Please, do it asap. Not all of us need touch/tablet support.

Yes, this is an ultra important production feature that I was looking for in Bitwig too. Please, Bitwig. Bring this as a Christmas present 2016?

Imagine that you record music that is free flowing by nature, without a metronome (classical rubato for ex.). You have a perfect take but it is maybe slightly too fast. How to stretch it easily? Now I have to export midi file to Reaper, stretch it simply by dragging border of a clip, once again export midi file from Reaper and import to Bitwig. Not everyone records music that is metronomically correct. It's not a feature that is "fun to have". It's bare necessity! I can't use Bitwig to do simplest of things. It's good piece of software without basic tools. How long we gonna have to wait to have all the basic tools needed in everyday life? And crossfades? Right now Bitwig is making my life only harder than it was when I was using Reaper. Are at leat working on adding all of the basic editing tools to Bitwig?
