will compatibility with mp3, rex and rex2 file types be introduced or am i just missing the knowledge of how to use them?

mp3 support already there (takes a very long time to load/convert, but it's supported). Checked with rex files and it seems that they aren't supported (yet?)

Rex files are not supported, but you can import wav, aiff and all the usual compressed audio formats (mp3, WMA, AAC, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, Apple Losless etc).

So do you have to import the WAV to Bitwig first? I tried dragging a file from the Finder window and it won't import
