Perhaps there are no 2.x versions of some of the 3.x plugins on your system?

I also have the problem - not all vst's are found. In demo mode Zebra2 used to work. Now it simply won't see my zebra vst folder and plugins.

I have the same problem. I can't use my waves plugins. In VST folder, I have WaveShell-VST 8.0.vst and WaveShell-VST 9.3.vst, but I only see v9.3 plugins. Lots of money is invested on them, and some of them are my go-to's, I really want this fixed...

I think this has already been answered in a few places (there's definitely a better answer than mine somewhere but I'm struggling to find it).

Basically, you shouldn't worry. There's a quick fix for the time being, and I think it's an issue that's probably being addressed soon.
