The product description states Pen support with Surface Pro. Will it also work with the regular Surface 3? It has the same Pen input I believe.

Well, a wikipedia article reads "The Surface 3 is the first non-Pro Surface to feature a pen digitizer and hence supports the Surface Pen." So it seems you're good to go.

Speaking of pen input, I can use the touch interface on my non-touch desktop PC with an old Wacom pen tablet (but anything involving two fingers is of course unavailable).
