can anyone tell me what audiodevices come with a good linux support?

i heard focusrite has best support fdor linux platforms. are there any experiences?

I use USB-connected Focusrite 2i2 and it worked out of the box for me. I am very pleased with the quality of this cheep model.

I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and Native Audio Komplete Audio 6 and both work pretty much straight out of the box. All in all I would say that I have had less issues, x-runs, crashes and the like using the Komplete Audio 6 than using the 2i4. The fact that the 2i4's USB chip broke may have had a lot to do with it. Since I got it fixed, I have not used the Focusrite a lot; I mainly keep it as a spare.
