Where are the volume and tone controls for the metronome? I can't find anything and it's too loud for me.

Volume is in the dropdown right beside the metronome button.

I know this thread is old, but for what it's worth, here's an update for current travellers.

I'm on Bitwig 2 running on Xubuntu-core 16.04 and the volume and other controls for the metronome are now to be found if you click the little triangle at the bottom right of the 'Play' button on the toolbar. Metronome settings are at the bottom of the drop down menu.
