Hi guys,

i have three questions about recording stuff in bitwig:

  1. If you record something in bitwig it automatically creates wav-files which have the same name as the track. Is there are way to rename these files within bitwig?
  2. Is there a way to specify the length of the recording in clip launcher mode before you make the recording?
  3. There's no feature like over-dub for audio, isn't it?

  1. select the clip... change name and colour in the inspector
  2. in the dropdown menu next to record automation you can choose what a clip, if it gets recorded should do after, so you can decide beforehand, how long the recording will be
  3. not that i know...

Thanks noizebusters,

  1. No that doesn't change the name of the wav file.
  2. Thanks! That's a new feature indeed. Cool.
  3. As i thought ...

Best, Simon
