Hey volks

I produced some notes with a vst-plugin and my Midi-Keyboard. Those notes I try to pan on the right side 50%. Not with the pan automation knob in the track mixer, I want to do it with the pan expression. So I shud be able to pan every single note. But it doesnt work. What I hear is still in the middle. Pan in the track mixer works fine, so its not the problem of the output device.

The user guide says: "Of the available note expressions, only velocitiy will work with VST-plug-ins. The other rely on Bitwig Studio's unique per-note modulation capabilities. These additional expressions will function properly only with Bitwig's instrument devices.*

Does that mean I can't use pan on VST-Plugins? If I can't, how am I able to pan two notes differently that are played in the same track and same time?

thanks for help
