I have downloaded the demo but since I can't save or export anything I have a question. Lets say I have Kontakt (Alicias Keys for example) on an instrument track. I record, etc and I am ready to export my project. Will Bitwig just export as is? Or do I have to setup an audio track and bounce / record to the audio track first?

I currently use Pro Tools and any instrument tracks I have recorded, I dont have to do anything additional when bouncing out the project to a wav, mp3, etc. I am aware that you have to do extra steps for external synths / hardware, but was curious if you can just do a straight up export with virtual ones (Kontakt, built in instruments, etc).

I hope that makes sense and thanks for any input!

You don't need to bounce instrument tracks before exporting the project as audio.

Bitwig will present you a screen where you will select what you want to export. The master track is selected by default but you can select any track or a selection of tracks.
