Hi, Bitwig ask to save project changes even if nothing has changed. It happend when I use u-he Zebra2 and/or NI Massive. Is it a bug?

(Bitwig 1.3.6 / Bitwig 1.3.8 / Win7 ultimate 32-bit / i5 3570)

Hi, I was just trying to figure out what's happening here without those plugins - I messed around with a project enough to try and find it prompting a save change without me actually changing anything, and here's what I found. Maybe it'll help.

... so when I double click on a blank area in the arranger page - the device window comes up/the playhead moves. Even if I don't actually add anything BitWig recognises this as a change of some kind and will prompt you to save. I think this is because the browser shows up and it creates a new track to preview - even if you don't end up using the track at all, it still kind of existed briefly.

I'm not sure exactly what's triggering it for you, but I think it's probably just BitWig's save confirmation dialogue being triggered for a reason that's not obvious rather than a bug. I could be wrong.

Hope that helps.

I believe it's not because of some sort of ghost focusing (or process in background). What happens is:

- Launch Bitwig
- Open a project picking it by the "most recent" list
- ... no actions ...
- Click on close button and the dialog appear.

That's all.

Bizarre. I can't recreate this with any of my plugins, I'm afraid. I assume it has to do with those - are you getting it with anything else? Perhaps it's worth reporting.
