Hi,

When I preview drum midi clips, or any other type of midi clips, I can hear the sound as some type of synth sound. Can I change the preview sound to drums, or better yet, to use the sound of the Instrument track that I have currently selected?

Thank you,

Daniel

This would be a great feature. I have a ton of drum midi files but can't really tell what they are without dragging to track, setting up drum machine, etc.

Would be nice if you could simply say synth OR drum (a generic drum kit would be fine for a preview)

I agree this would be a useful feature. And same for audio clips... At least I'd like an option them to play though the master channel.

In my opinion, this seems like really basic functionality for a pattern based DAW. Or any type of DAW for that matter. This is a major work flow impediment, and I can't believe that none of the developers or beta testers have raised this as an issue.

I see that the 2.5 beta is supposed to have some enhancements regarding the browser. Do any of these enhancements affect this issue?
