I like to route the master to a track for specialized processing for my phones mix. When I take input from master on an audio track I get nothing. The audio receiver device has no option for master. Is there a way?

Master Track is the final stage in a mixer. Just buss everything to a mixer track ahead of the master (I do this and it is named Pre-Master), use the audio receiver device in bitwig to receive the audio from a mixer channel to different channels for separate processing. I have all channels running into a channel ahead of master I named Pre-Master so I can split L and R, and create mono and other mix signal chains that I need. for my tracks.

All other mixer tracks send to Pre-Master instead of directly to the master output so you can process separate signal chains for either mono mix, headphone mix, separate L and R mix, Pre-Master is bussed to the master for monitoring. You can easily route to a channel using audio receiver for separate headphone processing.

The rest depends on ability of your audio interface whether it sees headphones as a separate routable output or if the monitors and headphones share a single output source. If your interface has separate stereo outputs, take the channel you will use for headphone processing and change the output to the appropriate headphones outputs.

I forgot to add, if your interface has separate stereo outputs for main monitors and headphones, go to preferences, audio, add outputs select headphones and it will show the channels available. Then on your headphone mixer channel go to output and select the headphones.

This will send the audio signal that your separately processing to headphones.

Thanks for your answer. I was able to accomplish what I need through my interface. I just don't understand why Master is an input option if it doesn't work.
