Why would someone want to buy the back-up media and/or download protection?

Back in 1995 the average hard drive was one massive gigabyte. A hard-copy would have been very handy!

My humour aside, the back-up media (a disc) would probably be good for the parts of the world with poor or no internet service. As far as the download protection... I've got nothing. Everyone can download it whenever they want as it is.
